Prices of blood test vary depending on what we are testing for. Blood test prices are available from reception on request. You will be required to pay a £50 if booking online.

Covid - 19 Private Blood Test

 Covid-19 Antibody testing is now available privately at The Clinic MK.

 Antibody testing allows us to determine whether a person has been previously infected with Coronavirus.

Specimens

Testing should be undertaken 14 days or more following exposure or onset of symptoms.

The Assay

Covid - 19 testing is 99.6% accurate and results are available in just 2 days. The persistence of IgG antibodies allows identification of people who have been infected by SARS-CoV-2.

Fit To Fly Covid-19 Testing and Certificates

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, Travel restrictions are changing frequently. Currently there is a need for a test to enable passengers to fly into many countries. The test in question is a PCR Swab test which tests for the presence of Covid-19 Virus. 

You must check with your airline how many days before the flight departure you need to take your test. The Clinic MK cannot advise you on this.

Prices are £59 which includes the Covid-19 PCR Test Certificate to travel. Results are sent by email the next day.

Rapid Antigen Lateral Flow Tests are £21 and the Certificate is emailed within 1hour.
